My new friends are so photogenic!
I photographed the Lancaster family a few months ago, when I was super pregnant and we were only a few months into quarantine. I met Julia when our paths crossed outside one day; we're neighbors! And I'm so thankful we are!
It was very important that we maintained distance during this shoot. Both the Lancaster family and my family is big into safety. So we tried to keep our distance and wear masks as much as possible. Still, you'd never know - everyone was all smiles!
I also have to mention that our location is amazing! Thomas Mitchell park has so much - bridges, waterways, grassy areas, hills, and much more. I love this place because every session feels unique.
Lancaster family, I'm so glad we found the sun we were looking for! Thanks for being our true Iowan friends!
