The holidays are over and I'm finally getting back in the swing of things. First up, it's a blog about the Eliker family!
This session occurred on a cold Black Friday, but it was FUN! The Elikers are a unique family - Dad is a scientist, Mom is an author, the seven kids are all adorable and funny, and together they have a hobby farm!
I wish I was that interesting.
We met at Pioneer Park, and it was my first time at this location. Suffice it to say that it definitely won't be my last! There is lots of cool scenery here, from fields and hills to bridges and playgrounds. I love all the options!
It took us all a while to get used to the cold. The best thing we could do was focus on laughter and candid moments. Honestly, I love how they turned out.
Once we warmed up, we moved to a covered bridge and got some really sweet photos. The sun had moved to the perfect spot to give us stunning golden light without blinding my cute subjects.
We even got a few headshots for Rachael's books! I have to admit, she has my dream job!
All in all, we had great conversations about Taylor Swift, bribing kids, and church. I feel like I made new friends, which is always a win in my book.
