Another photoshoot with one of my cute cousins is in the books!
Seriously, how are all my cousins so pretty? Like, we have the same genes but you somehow hogged all the good looks!
Dorie is a sweetie. She's quiet and reserved, but she's got big plans. She wants to go to Indiana University and medical school, and then she aspires to be a doctor in Labor and Delivery. We need great doctors looking out for moms and babies, so yay for Dorie!
This is where I did my senior photos back in 2010, and I've taken photos here for my siblings and cousins over the years, too. Grandma no longer lives here, but this is where much of her legacy started.
I am not a country girl by any stretch of the imagination, but I do love this place, and I hope to get my own family pictures done here in the near future. It's a place full of memories and nostalgia. It feels warm, safe, fun, loving, and a little wild - somewhere a world away. It's got a bit of magic about it.
To Dorie and the other seniors, enjoy a wonderful final year of high school. Make memories, have fun, and plan big.
