Lancaster: Family Photos

Quarantine has been weird, am I right? It's brought a lot of hardships for many. Of course, some people have been able to find silver linings. One of the silver linings I've found is meeting my neighbors - the King family!

We met while Julia was on a bike ride with her daughters. We kept our distance but exchanged numbers and realized we live super close to each other. She asked if I did porch sessions, and I said I was open to it. I haven't done much business lately because of COVID-19 and because I'm so pregnant, but I thought this might be a good opportunity. I gave her a great deal and we set a date.

One evening in May, I walked over to the King house and met the family outside. They were ready in their comfy quarantine clothes (loved this idea) and we got to work, making sure to keep our distance. We took a few posed shots and then some silly ones of the kids. It only lasted about 20 minutes, but it was a great time!

Julia, thanks so much for being my new friend! It's been a pleasure getting to know you. Knowing that another DMU family is close by is heart-warming, and I'm hoping my boys can play with your kids in the future!
