Jennie was so kind and patient while scheduling. We had a few snafus come up, including an emergency appendectomy for me, so we had to update our calendars a lot. Finally, we got together! It rained a bit that day, but we were thankful for the warm air and the time we had together.
Let me tell you that the Shipley family is full of comedians! One of the best parts was having each family member stand by this fun, funky door in uptown Ankeny. The goal was to make each person laugh, and those who stood behind me were up for the challenge! They had plenty of jokes to share! I love capturing facial expressions mid-giggle, so this was fun for me!
Another highlight of the session was getting a few nice holiday photos. We found a beautiful wall that was the perfect backdrop. Unique, urban, old-school - I love the vibe we captured!
