Another beautiful Shoaf cousin is married, and I was honored to be able to photograph the special occasion!
Meet Malia, one of my very pretty cousins, and her new husband Nicholi! They were married in August at the Indianapolis, Indiana LDS (Mormon) Temple. Actually, we're technically supposed to say "temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints," but that's a lot of words.
Malia and Nicholi met in high school. I have a special place in my heart for high school sweethearts, because I met my own husband when I was 15. We didn't go to the same school, but I understand the ins and outs of young love, especially when distance is involved.
This couple got married on a beautiful day, though we did have a lot of sunshine to deal with. This made for some unpleasant shadows and a bit of sweat, but hey, it happens. We roll with the punches and still capture beautiful pictures.
Congratulations, Malia and Nicholi! Enjoy your time out West!
P.S. The redheads are pretty much related to me. Jealous.
P.S.S. FRECKLES! That is one Shoaf trait I do have.
