I was so honored to be one of the very first to congratulate my friend Sierra on her pregnancy!
Sierra chatted with my back in December letting me know she and her husband David are expecting their first baby. I was so excited for them! I love to see growing families, and I was so honored that they drove all the way up from Bloomington to take pictures with me!
Sierra and David wanted to surprise family members with announcement pictures for Christmas. We didn't have a lot of timing and location options - it was so cold and windy and Christmas was less than two weeks away. But, that's where a photographer's expertise comes in. Through our discussions, we decided to go to the Franklin Road library and focus on getting good indoor shots.
Who knew all the adorable ways you could announce a pregnancy at the library?!
Also, you know you're in the right spot when you're in the Harry Potter section. Just sayin'.
Luckily, we were able to remain quiet and respectful, so we didn't upset any other library patrons or staff. But, we wanted to brave the elements and get a few outdoor shots. I love these - such a cute couple!
